Description: Camp Fire USA plans to create an interactive sharing space for youth, ages 11-19, on the Camp Fire USA web site that will enhance community preparedness service-learning experiences. A youth-led committee will brainstorm, design and oversee the creation and ongoing enhancements of the teen site. This password protected space will include Web 2.0 technology to engage youth and adult/youth partnerships in sharing their service-learning projects, reflections, celebrations and advocacy through: a password-protected social network; blogs to encourage council adult/teen partners to share information within their region; mobile alerts when calls to action are recorded; sharing videos, DVDs and podcasts of projects and celebrations; the creation of an interactive emergency response simulation that youth in groups could practice skills learned in TeenCert or other emergency response trainings; and a tracking device on the site to evaluate use and feed continuous improvements.http://www.campfireusa.org/
