AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps members (including AmeriCorps State & National, AmeriCorps*VISTA, and AmeriCorps NCCC) are working in schools, universities, and community-based organizations across the country implementing, facilitating, and coordinating service-learning. Models of Service-Learning in AmeriCorps Programs
  • The FLCC AmeriCorps*VISTA Initiative
    FL|CC VISTA members are successfully building bridges between the classrooms and communities by connecting educators, students, and community partners to improve education and address societal needs through campus-community partnerships, applied civic education, and engaged citizenship. Students are learning from being engaged in meaningful service opportunities that create positive change in communities.
  • Harmony/VISTA Service-Learning Demonstration Project
    The Harmony/VISTA Service-Learning Demonstration Project is part of an innovative group of programs exploring the nexus between service-learning and anti-poverty work.
  • MCC AmeriCorps*VISTA Program
    Michigan Campus Compact AmeriCorps*VISTA members
    • Participate in service-learning and co-curricular service
    • Work with and support Service-Learning Faculty members
  • Service Learning for Family Health AmeriCorps Program
    Over a three-year period, over 180 AmeriCorps members, primarily CSU students, provided service to community-based health organizations by coordinating service learners and volunteers from universities.
