The National Conference on Volunteering and Service is the world's largest gathering of volunteer and service leaders from the nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors.

Co-convened by HandsOn Network and the Corporation for National and Community Service, the annual event provides attendees with an opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired through a wide range of exciting and informative plenary sessions, workshops, special events, service projects, exhibits, specialized "tracks," and more. Past speakers have included Presidents George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter, Colin Powell, Representative John Lewis, Jon Bon Jovi, and many more.

Tuesday, June 29:   MTV, TeenNick, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and Shell are teaming up to spotlight the extraordinary efforts of our nation's youth service leaders in the "It's Up to Us! 2010 NCVS Youth Forum."  The two-hour summit will give 150 young people a platform alongside leaders from the national service movement and the Obama and Bloomberg administrations, to connect, discuss and generate new ideas to expand the youth service movement. MTV News Correspondent Sway Calloway will kick-off the evening event as emcee, and Ben Nemtin from MTV's "The Buried Life" will join youth service leaders from Usher's New Look and Learn and Serve America.
