Attend three dynamic keynote presentations and choose from over 100 training sessions featuring successful programs and practices from across the country that address risk factors, protective factors, and community conditions needed for the well-being of young people. Time is provided to network with colleagues, visit exhibitors, and enjoy the evening entertainment of historic Savannah.
This conference is designed for all persons interested in the well-being of youth, included but not limited to:

Objectives:
- Examine attitudes and beliefs and learn that change and growth have unlimited possibilities.
- Gain an increased understanding of some specific actions that can make a difference in the life of a young person.
- Identify factors that contribute to high student achievement.
- Identify conditions that protect against risk factors and identify some strategies that foster resiliency in children at risk.
- Become acquainted with a sampling of prevention programs that are effective for certain populations and the strategies that work.
- Recognize opportunities for youth participation in planning, operating, and evaluating youth-focused programs and organizations
