<title>Designing Service-Learning for Maximum Community Benefit</title>
<description>In this podcast Julie Plaut, Head of Campus Compact’s national academic initiatives, interviews Marie Sandy, Professor, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Educational Policy and Community Studies Department, about creating successful partnerships that ensure maximum community benefit. Marie Sandy discusses her background and experience with campus-community partnerships and talks about successes and challenges in partnering as well as the importance of building trust. Marie and Julie talk about Community Voices: A California Campus Compact Study on Partnerships, a 2005 study with the goal of listening to community partners about their experiences to better understand and strengthen these partnerships.</description>
