At-Risk Youth

At-risk youth are children/youth who are more likely to drop out of school due to a variety of demographic, socioeconomic, and institutional characteristics. Service-learning helps to connect such students to the school and community, and addresses issues like boredom and disaffection, which are common reason for students dropping out of school. Following are some of our most relevant resources for this topic.
