*Academic Exchange Quarterly (AEQ)
  This is an independent, peer-reviewed print and electronic journal that publishes 55 - 65 original refereed articles per issue, submitted by international authors representing multiple academic areas.

  The Coalition for Community Schools publishes this newsletter, intended to provide updates on developments in the community schools field and the work of the Coalition.
   
 *Community Works Journal
  This journal is published online (free) and in print three times a year in support of teaching practices that build community. It showcases innovative educational strategies, practices, and curriculum that involve teachers and students in meaningful work within their communities.

 *Connect for Kids Weekly
  A weekly email newsletter on children's issues. Sample topics include: kids and politics, strengthening working families, resources for community builders, and out-of-school programs.
   
 *Connections
  Connections is a monthly newsletter that highlights new original articles, profiles and book reviews on the Connect for Kids website.
   
 *The Evaluation Exchange
  Harvard Family Research Project's periodical addresses current issues facing program evaluators of all levels, with articles written by the most prominent evaluators in the field.
   
 *Florida Journal of Service-Learning in Teacher Education (FASITE)
   A peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring the many aspects of service-learning programs and pedagogy in use in pre-K, elementary, secondary, alternative education, vocational education, and teacher education programs throughout Florida as well as across the country.
   
 *The Generator: Journal of Service-Learning and Service Leadership
  A National Youth Leadership Association publication for practitioners from all service-learning sectors. Issues focus on a specific theme, and include articles from the field, program examples, research, resources and news. Published quarterly; annual subscription $28.
   
 *Journal of Democracy
  This journal, published quarterly, provides a forum for scholarly analysis and competing democratic viewpoints.
   
 *Journal on Excellence in College Teaching
  This is a peer-reviewed journal published at Miami University by and for faculty at universities and two- and four-year colleges to increase student learning through effective teaching, interest in and enthusiasm for the profession of teaching, and communication among faculty about their classroom experiences. Available online.
   
 *Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement
  Published three times per year, JHEOE is a peer-reviewed journal that welcomes submissions from a broad range of scholars, practitioners, and professionals. Tables of contents and abstracts of the articles are available online.
   
 *Journal for Civic Commitment
  
The Journal for Civic Commitment is a twice-yearly, online journal dedicated to service-learning and civic engagement.

International Journal for Service Learning in Engineering 
  The International Journal for Service Learning in Engineering (IJSLE) is a new faculty-reviewed electronic journal offered free, semi-annually, over the World Wide Web.  The Journal welcomes manuscripts based on original work of students and researchers with a specific focus or implication for service learning inengineering, engineering entrepreneurship in service, or related topics. 
   
 *Learn and Serve Wisconsin
  A twice yearly newsletter from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
   
 *Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning
  A peer-reviewed journal consisting of articles written by faculty and service-learning educators on research, theory, pedagogy, and issues pertinent to the service-learning community.
   
 *National Service Briefing
  A weekly publication of Youth Service America's National Youth Service Network. This newsletter provides an online briefing for the service and volunteer field, highlighting up to date information such as funding, legislation, awards, best practices, and programs.
   
 *National Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Research E-Newsletter
  An online publication of the Service-Learning Research and Development Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Provides the latest research information on service-learning and civic engagement in K-12 education, teacher education, and higher education, as well as access to other research resources, events, email discussion lists, jobs, and more.
   
 *National Service News
  A bimonthly online newsletter from the Corporation for National and Community Service.
   
 *NSEE Quarterly
  Quarterly publication of the National for Experiential Education (NSEE), an association of educators, businesses, and community leaders.
   
 *Partnership Matters
  Knowing that it is impossible to keep up with the many conferences, grants, programs and publications that might strengthen community-campus efforts, the goal for Partnership Matters is to provide members with easy access to such information in a succinct, readable format. The newsletter is sent out via email every two weeks.
   
 *PEN Weekly NewsBlast
  The Public Education Network advocates for significant changes in how school systems are funded, overhauling curriculum and assessment practices, and providing ongoing professional development for teachers. Every week, the PEN Weekly NewsBlast offers annotated links to articles about education, free updates on education news, and grant alerts.
   
 *Phi Delta Kappan
  An advocate for research-based school reform, the Kappan provides a forum for debate on controversial subjects. Published since 1915, the journal comes out monthly, September-June, as a print publication. Selected articles from each issue are available online.

  The September 2000 issue of this online newsletter on political science focused on service-learning and includes eight articles on various aspects of service-learning and political science.
   
 *Reflections on Community-Based Writing Instruction
  Reflections, a peer reviewed journal, provides a forum for scholarship on writing, service-learning, and community literacy.
   
 *SERVEnet News
  This monthly electronic newsletter from SERVEnet provides updates on the latest happenings in the service community.
   
 *Service-Learning Advances
  A monthly newsletter from the National Service-Learning Partnership (NSLP), it offers comprehensive and timely information about developments in the K-12 service-learning field. You must become a member of the NSLP to receive the newsletter. Membership is free.
   
 *Service-Learning Update Newsletter
  This bulletin from the Pennsylvania Service-Learning Alliance highlights service-learning as a teaching methodology. It provides tips on how to connect service-learning with the curriculum, academic standards (federal, state and school district standards), and ideas for identifying and addressing local community needs via service-learning.
   
 *Synergy e-Newsletter, Washington Campus Compact
  This online publication is published quarterly by Washington Campus Compact.
