Faith Based Institutions and High Risk Youth.

In 1997 Public/Private Ventures began to investigate the extent to which faith-based institutions serve high-risk youth (youth who are already involved in criminal and violent activities) as well as the efficacy of their programs and their capacity to reach greater numbers of youth. This report sets forth some early lessons drawn from the investigation and describes the local initiatives that have joined the national effort.
