By interviewing faculty, the authors investigated the impact of stress, authenticity, and spirituality on faculty. Most faculty experience a substantial amount of job related stress, often due to perceived time constraints affecting job preparedness. Faculty also encounter conflicting values from their institutions. Many report being involved in spiritual activities.
