Abstract:
This booklet describes the benefits of intergenerational service learning whether youth serve older adults, older adults serve youth, or both generations work together with a service learning mission. The authors guide program coordinators and potential coordinators through various aspects of intergenerational projects, including senior volunteer recruitment, liability issues, training and orientation, ice breaker activities, evaluation, example projects, and reflection ideas.
