The handouts describe the Nickels for Nature project, which shows how elementary school children raise money to support a gazebo that is used as an outdoor classroom; the Ambassadors project, of which activities include welcoming new students, helping in the school office, assisting Salvation Army, helping to beautify the campus, tutoring, and nursing home visits; Study Buddies, a tutoring/mentoring program involving high school and elementary school students; Drama-Rama Explorers, production of drama to present drug awareness messages; and Quad A Explorers, high school athletes mentoring sixth graders about drug abuse.
