Abstract:
Teachers of composition may prefer combining community service with classroom teaching by helping students learn about social values and real-world skills, and connecting them with their course materials. The course is designed to help students write essays in which they analyze, interpret, reflect, argue, research, and narrate. Students also engage in peer response groups to help each other with revising. (Expanded Academic ASAP)
