Service Learning Projects in Composition and Beyond

Teachers of composition may prefer combining community service with classroom teaching by helping students learn about social values and real-world skills, and connecting them with their course materials. The course is designed to help students write essays in which they analyze, interpret, reflect, argue, research, and narrate.
