Abstract:
Duckenfield outlines the factors contributing to at-risk status for youth and describes cross-age tutoring as an approach to reach at-risk youth. Cross-age tutoring projects, including those involving at-risk youth, can be successful for both tutor and tutee. The service-learning framework can ensure success for all such tutoring projects.
