Abstract:
Finger writes about his experience implementing a service-learning project between a homeless shelter and a local high school. Reflection was noted as an essential aspect of the experience. He also discussed the difficulty of initiating a community-based service-learning project as opposed to a school-sponsored project and the challenge of ensuring that both the servers and the served learn from the experience.
