Abstract: 

The purpose of the project presented in this report was to study the development of faculty members who engage in service-learning at community colleges, to establish a conceptual framework for studying the impact of service-learning on faculty development, and to develop a system whereby other researchers could duplicate the research process. This report provides an overview of the project and it includes a Faculty Development Assessment Handbook. The Handbook includes a faculty development rubric, as well as information on and forms from the interview, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation processes.(AR)
