"Skills for Adolescence," a program for middle and junior high schools, includes (1) increased parent involvement; (2) inservice training for classroom teachers; (3) service-learning opportunities for students; (4) community partnerships with schools; and (5) teaching students skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and goal setting.
