Abstract:
This guide for faculty on intergenerational service-learning starts by defining service-learning and discussing the benefits of intergenerational service to students. To help interested teachers start a multigenerational project, the guide describes core elements and examples of service-learning, sample lesson plans, collaboration, and the aging network which consists of several diverse organizations which deliver a wide range of valuable resources and services to older adults.
