Abstract:
Messina notes that peer mediation programs are probably the most popular and widespread examples of community service-learning programs in middle and high schools, though not recognized as such. She describes how her school, Forest Park Middle School in Springfield, Massachusetts, established a peer mediation program in partnership with Fleet Bank. (SH)
