Fostering Equality Through Service Learning.

Service-learning provides an opportunity to create community, to expand our sense of citizenship and ownership of this country through students and community residents working together to answer unmet needs. It is particularly important that we think of service-learning as a partnership between community and school now because of the dramatic changes occurring in this country.
