Abstract:
This survey is intended as a self-directed instrument to help educators create a framework and guidance system from which to think critically about their service-learning efforts and to provide a mechanism to help improve program and initiatives. The assessment is divided into the following separate, yet related, sections: culture and context, philosophy and purpose, policy and parameters, pedagogy and practice, and assessment and accountability.
