Abstract:
The Missouri Division of Youth Services' youth offender programs focus on ways to return juvenile offenders to their families and communities. The effort utilizes community partnerships in developing services preventing young offenders from engaging in delinquent practices. Programs include citizen involvement through juvenile court diversion, intensive case monitoring, family therapy, a jobs program, alternative living and day treatment and residential services.
