Abstract:
The authors note that no activity is more central to understanding and implementing service-learning programs than reflection. They define reflection as "use of creative and critical thinking skills to help prepare for, succeed in, and learn from the service experience, and to examine larger picture and context in which the service occurs." Reflection is to take place before, during, and after service.
