Abstract:
This paper discusses examination of K-12 service-learning partnerships, especially regarding how programs enhance student citizenship and civic/political outcomes. Her data includes interviews, pre-post surveys, and observations from seven school district partnerships in California. Subjects included students, teachers, school administrators, community members, and program coordinators.
