An assessment model that responds to the complexity of service-learning and other strategies for civic engagement in higher education. The primary focus is on curricular service-learning. This handbook is also intended as a resource for assessment for continuous improvement, not just for demonstrating outcomes. Thus, improvement methods and concepts are woven throughout the narrative, the approaches, and the instrumentation itself.
