Abstract:
The study of the early urban research university may be a source of ideas for ideas and approaches to the service-learning movement. Presents four historical scenarios of universities whose missions did not become the dominant paradigm of today's university, but whose stories lend themselves to service-learning. Early universities were interested in creating a better city and society.
