Abstract:
Argues that service-learning is fundamentally oriented toward the ecological environment surrounding the university, not only the social environment. The authors use concepts such as creative imagination, communicative ethics, ecosocial location, and long-term alliances in the discussion. Discusses work at the University of Denver.
