Abstract:
This report summarizes the authors evaluation of the Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF) CityWorks curriculum. The curriculum was designed to be incorporated in high school government courses. The authors surveyed students before and after they were exposed to the curriculum. Findings regarding the program's impact and practices responsible for this success are described. The implications for both the CityWorks curriculum and civic education in general are discussed.
