This guide is designed to help students in grades 9-12 gain proficiency in meeting the National Standards for Civics and Government (CRF). This supplementary text provides 16 lessons with four parts each: a short reading reviewing one to four standards; discussion questions based on the standards; a high-interest reading based on an issue related to the standards; and an interactive activity designed to foster intellectual and participatory skill development.
