Abstract:
Service-learning as a community development strategy can no longer isolate itself from the political, geographical, and historical contexts of the communities in which it operates. This article describes three service-learning groups that engage constituents in dynamic service-learning efforts, with a goal of long-term sustainability and community change. (abstract)
