Abstract:
This interview with P/PV staff covers the progress of their faith-based initiative and some of the findings, successes, and struggles it has faced so far. In 1998, Public/Private Ventures began a demonstration project in 15 cities to assess the effectiveness of partnerships among faith-based institutions and the juvenile justice system. The project hopes to investigate the potential, limitations, and effective practices of faith-based organizations' efforts to work with high-risk youth.
