Abstract:
This chapter presents the recommendations of a group of researchers who convened to discuss the research in K-12 service-learning and to generate a K-12 service-learning research agenda for higher education. Due to time constraints, their work focused on only three broad areas: impact of service-learning on students academic achievement, civic engagement, and personal/social development. (Authors)
