Abstract:
The goals of this project consisted of determining a) the relationships between the undergraduates' participation in a service-learning experience in college and their postgraduate employment choices, and b) whether different types of service environments had an effect on job placement, community engagement, and civic leadership. The results of this study suggest that service-learning experiences are a significant factor in the employment choices of students after graduation. (Information Age Publishing)
