Abstract:
This book, produced as part of a service-learning project, is a body of work produced by students, teachers and community members on local environmental issues surrounding Tar Creek, the worst Superfund site in the United States. A majority of the papers included are products of students from Judy David and Tom MacQueeney's English classes. It is a good example of what students can create as part of a service-learning project in an English class.
