Abstract:
This meta-analysis was undertaken as part of larger effort to identify service-learning and related pro-social youth development activities and their impacts. The investigation attempts to answer questions related to: the scale and scope of state-level studies (duration, grade level of participants; number of students/sites involved; who was surveyed; types of data collected; strategies, tools, and methods used; who analyzed data and how; and key findings. (pages 41-47)
