Building Collaborations to Support Service-Learning

This chapter from "Building Support for Service-Learning" builds the case for strong family, school, and community partnerships. It addresses the value of creating partnerships and examining how policies support family and community partnerships in service-learning programs. It concludes with examples and suggestions as to how to create such partnerships and is followed by a checklist of national standards for parent/family involvement programs.
