A vital front to the violent events of the present world: war, terrorism, and discriminatory persecution, is promote solidarity, peace, and coexistence in cultural and religious diversity. One mission of schools in Argentina is to emphasize to youth the importance of peace, integration and solidarity, to understand that people of difference cultural and religious backgrounds must learn to live together. Schools have attempted to construct ways to transform the concept of solidarity into a life attitude that affects all actions. This publication presents this goal of the Education Ministry of Argentina. The Ministry declared a National Day of Solidarity and summoned all churches, educational organizations, towns and students to participate. The purpose of this day was to fortify the commitment to work towards an integrated and unified Argentina.
