Abstract:
This handbook gives background information on resource mapping and guidelines on how to carry this out in order to determine community needs and strengths. The purpose of resource mapping is to help young people and adults work together to assess community resources and then plan and implement service-learning projects that strengthen those resources and leverage young people's participation in civic life.
