Abstract:
This guide provides educators with a structure for planning a service-learning project that is meaningfully immersed into the classroom curriculum. Tools include: a curriculum planning template and student project planning form; a section on service-learning portfolio assessment, including a self-assessment rubric; pre- and post-student surveys; activity guides; and training materials. In addition, the introduction to the guidebook provides background information on service-learning methodology and the current state of service-learning in Wisconsin. (HM)
