Abstract:

This fact sheet discusses city wide movements. A citywide movement involves mobilizing faith-based organizations, networks, and allied organizations and individuals across a geographic area to invest in and advocate for youth engagement in effective interfaith service-learning in order to create a public culture and social norms that support and sustain pluralism, civic engagement, and positive youth development. This fact sheet discusses the importance of city wide movements, key components, tips on getting started, and a list of resources.
