Abstract: 

In 2007, Camp Fire USA Heartland Council's Teens in Action partnered with Kansas City Passages and local filmmaker and former Passages volunteer Lisa Marie Evans to produce this short film, funded by Learn and Serve America. In this film, teens from the Passages LGBT youth center relate their experiences with bullying and share the hate crimes they have experienced because of homophobia. Teens in Action is Camp Fire USA's service-learning program.
