Abstract:

This study provides selected findings from an evaluation of Michigan K-12 Learn and Serve America to evaluate the effectiveness and impacts of service-learning programs administered by subgrantees during the 2004 /2005 school year. The study was designed to examine student outcomes and assess which program characteristics affect outcomes.
