Abstract:
This article recommends a means for organizations to more fully realize the learning potential of their community service endeavors. It advocates the development of management skills through service-learning. A university sponsored service-learning project, examined within the context of the experiential learning model, will illustrate how service-learning can offer students and employees hands-on experience in utilizing management concepts and theories.
