Abstract:

BioSITE is a hands-on learning program in which students perform authentic water quality monitoring and ecological study at a nearby creek. High school students learn principles of ecology, riparian habitats, and water quality monitoring. After practice and developing lesson plans, they teach this material to elementary school students.
