Abstract:
This guide is a tool that can be used by service leaders, educators, agency staff and parents to educate individuals serving the community on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. The goal of this curriculum is to provide a snapshot of the life and work of Dr. King as a vehicle for enhancing the service experience for people of all ages. The curriculum includes historical information about Martin Luther King, Jr. and his work, learning and reflection activities for students, and a list of resources for more information.
