Accounting Majors Learn By Teaching

This brief article describes a service-learning project in which Delgado Community College West Bank accounting students joined the LCPA and Junior Achievement (JA) to present the first annual Financial Literacy Day at Fischer Elementary Charter School in New Orleans. This event was a capstone event of a course for the accounting students in which they learned concepts such as economics, management, and marketing.
