This chapter reviews the past decade of literature of service-learning to extract issues that relate to the emergence of service-eLearning. Importantly, the review includes representative members' voices from the three stakeholder groups involved in all service-learning projects-- university faculty/administrators, community partners, and students. Each member of the team was asked to read through abstracts of every article published in the MJCSL over the period 1996-2005 and to highlight those relevant to an educational and organizational shift toward service-eLearning. It should be noted at the outset of that, of the 155 articles published in the MJCSL over the period 1996-2005, only two (or 1.3%) of the articles referenced technology as a component of the service-learning experience, reinforcing service-eLearning as an emergent pedagogy worthy of inquiry.
