National Day of Listening: Community Service Toolkit

The National Day of Listening is an effort to honor friends, loved ones, or members of your community by interviewing them about their lives. The Community Service Toolkit provides resources to bring the National Day of Listening to your classroom or community. It includes tips on recording interviews, a Do-It-Yourself Instruction Guide, selected questions list, equipment recommendations, promotional flyers, and other resources. The National Day of Listening is an opportunity to serve your community by recording interviews in veteran’s hospitals, senior centers, homeless shelters, and other community centers.
