Abstract:
This chapter explores two models of service-eLearning: DLiTE (Distributed Learning in Teacher Education) at Bemidji State University in Minnesota, which replaced the traditional field placement and practia experiences of the face-to-face model, and Hamline University's offering of both online and dace-to-face courses by the same instructor (thus enabling side-by-side comparison).
