During the 2009 Learn and Serve America Grantee Training meeting, the higher education sector proposed that Learn and Serve America convene a group of grantees interested in collaborating on a shared community partner evaluation survey. This work is taking a proactive look to see how grant programs can attempt to measure community impact of their programs, given the diversity of their service activities, institutions, program designs and locations.
On January 27th, 2010, Learn and Serve America hosted a webinar to present the work these grantees have completed and to introduce the survey questions that were developed as a result. These presentation slides review the process that the working group undertook to develop the questions and explain how two different Learn and Serve America consortium grantees, California Campus Compact and the American Association of Community Colleges, will use the survey questions.
