This guide is intended primarily for North Carolina educators and their students in grades K-12 enrolled in public and private schools. Its purpose is to provide resources to transform community service activities into highly engaging, quality service-learning experiences that have sufficient duration and intensity to develop skills and knowledge, which will empower students to succeed academically, stay in school, and achieve in life.
